Government's Unreasonable Spending


Oh My Gosh. To think that the MALAYSIAN gvmt is going to extend national service to 'probably 2 yrs' to 'instill nationalism'. What's wrg with them!! Is there even proof that it works?
Sooner or later, our country's gonna be facing a budget deficit and god knows what will follow suit. Even if they want to increase government spending for the goodness noes what, WHY CAN'T THEY SPEND ON SOMETHING productive? Say, provide more scholarships. That will definitely bring positive feedback. Improve technology. Say improve our tourism sector effectively. Our tourism industry's got potential.

That brings me to VMY '07. It is definitely not helping. It's a total flop. Do the management even noe what tourists want?? Sure, there's tourists in M'sia but 99.999999% of them who came DID not come due to VMY. Who even noes about the existence of it?? I'd say that marketing is the main factor for the flop. Building the eye of M'sia is one of the lamest excuse i heard of. In case you haven't noticed, the ppl who visit the eye of M'sia are mostly locals! Besides, M'sia which is so-called a culture hub is quite ignorant of art and culture. Everything's banned for the slightest reason. I mean, how can a book of history even be banned in the first place?! Just because it holds the truth you want to conceal? Utter nonsense. Not only that but i have to travel, just to catch quality plays. *note activities and plays in S'pore* Thk goodness, there's more plays available in M'sia currently.

Look at how Aus promotes their country! So much more organised and effective. The booklet between The Star definitely caught MY attention!

I love this country BuT definitely NOT how it is governed.
